<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath device capable of performing automated cleaning operation during the freezing-preventing operation of a bath circuit. <P>SOLUTION: When an automated cleaning operation is instructed during the freezing-preventing operation, the hot water of a bathtub 5 is drained with the freezing-preventing operation continued; the draining is determined to have been completed when a flow switch 21 detects turning from a draining state to a non-draining state; and a bath pump 9 is stopped to finish the freezing-preventing operation and the automated cleaning operation is started; thus the automated cleaning operation can be performed during the freezing-preventing operation by determining whether or not the draining in the bath circuit 11 is completely finished even if the water level of the bathtub 5 varies by the operation of the bath pump 9 during the freezing-preventing operation; an idling operation time of the bath pump 9 can be shortened; furthermore, the drainage volume of the priming in the bath pump 9 can be reduced and the service life of the bath pump 9 can be extended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
