<p>A resource management method exploring task mapping with minimized total energy consumption and maximized throughput for heterogeneous multicore processor systems is provided. The method includes: preparing a plurality of task mapping methods; testing a first three-dimensional matrix and a second three-dimensional matrix to know a type of heterogeneity, the first three-dimensional matrix representing completion time of each combination of task, core and voltage setting, and the second three-dimensional matrix representing energy consumption of each combination of task, core and voltage setting; selecting one of the plurality of task mapping methods based on the type of heterogeneity; mapping tasks to cores by using the selected task mapping method.</p> |
