<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift to a peripheral cell detection mode without decreasing transmission efficiency and complicating processing, regarding a base station, a mobile station, a radio communication system and a radio communication method. <P>SOLUTION: In the radio communication system and method including a plurality of mobile stations MS and a plurality of base stations BS1, BS2, means is provided for repotting information on a frame position with a possibility of packet transmission on the basis of reception quality degradation detection or the like in one or both of the mobile stations MS and base stations BS1, BS2, and the mobile station MS includes means for determining a frame position without the possibility of packet transmission on the basis of the information on the frame position with the possibility of the packet transmission and shifting to the peripheral cell detection mode at the frame position without the possibility of frame transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
