<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating element that is unobtrusive, has excellent heating performance at a low voltage, and includes a pattern capable of minimizing diffraction and interference of light, and a method for manufacturing the heating element. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a heating element and a method for manufacturing the heating element. The heating element includes: a transparent base material; a conductive heating wire provided on at least one side of the transparent base material; a bus bar electrically connected to the conductive heating wire; and a power supply unit connected to the bus bar. In the heating element, 30% or more of the entire area of the transparent base material has a conductive heating wire pattern in which, when a straight line intersecting the conductive heating wire is drawn, a ratio (area distribution ratio) of a standard deviation in respect to an average value of distances between adjacent intersection points of the straight line and the conductive heating wire is 2% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
