<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent coating apparatus that can uniformly and appropriately apply a coating agent to a required position of a base material conveyed at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the intermittent coating apparatus which intermittently applies the coating agent to the base material by intermittently contacting coating rolls 11, 12 with the base material 1 conveyed along a conveying path. The apparatus includes: guide rolls 6, 7 arranged at positions adjacent to the plurality of coating rolls 11, 12 disposed along the conveying path of the base material 1, which regulates a conveying direction of the base material 1; and a driving mechanism 18 for individually driving the guide rolls 6, 7 and contacting and separating the base material 1 to and from the coating rolls 11, 12 to apply the coating agent to different regions of the base material 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
