<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image collation program, an image collation device, an image collation method, and an image retrieval system that shorten a processing time needed for image retrieval. <P>SOLUTION: The image collation device comprises: an input image acquisition unit 21 which acquires an input image; an area division unit 23 which divides the input image into areas corresponding to luminance values; a representative point coordinate generation unit 25 which acquires a representative coordinate indicative of one point in each area; a first luminance value table generation unit 27 which acquires a luminance value of the input image at the representative coordinate, a stored image acquisition unit 31 which acquires a storage image, a second luminance value table generation unit 35 which acquires a luminance value of the stored image at the representative point coordinate, and an image collation unit 13 which collates a first image with a second image by determining whether the difference between the luminance values at the representative point coordinates of the input image and stored image is within a predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
