<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solar cell which can manufacture a solar cell having a selective emitter structure with a simple method without requiring a complicated device. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the solar cell which manufactures a solar cell includes the steps of: imparting a third composition for forming an n-type diffusion layer containing glass powder including n-type impurities and a dispersion medium to a partial region on one surface of a semiconductor substrate; subjecting the semiconductor substrate to which the third composition for forming the n-type diffusion layer has been imparted to a heat treatment in the atmosphere including phosphorus oxychloride (POCl<SB POS="POST">3</SB>) to form an n-type diffusion layer; and forming an electrode on the partial region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
