<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise and high-performance electric blower. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the electric blower such that a motor 4 is constituted by storing an armature 6 having a field core 51 and a commutator 64 on a rotary shaft 61 and provided with armature winding 63 and a field system 5 arranged at an outer periphery of the armature 5 across a gap and generating a magnetic field in brackets A12 and B10 so that the armature 6 can rotate, and providing a brush 66 supplying electric power to the commutator 64, the rotary shaft 61 is provided with an impeller 2, and a casing 1 containing the impeller 2 is fixed to the bracket A12 so as to cool the inside of the motor 4 with an air flow generated by the impeller 2. A surface of one part of a surface of the armature 6 except the commutator 64 where at least the armature winding 63 is exposed is covered with an insulation member 8, and unevenness 9 is provided to a surface of the insulation member 8. Consequently, heat dissipation from a surface of the armature winding 63 is improved to achieve reduction in temperature rise of the electric blower and improvement in performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
