<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily estimate a bispectral-fluorescent radiance without measuring a bispectral-fluorescent radiance for each of colors on recording media. <P>SOLUTION: A color processing apparatus of the present invention comprises: first acquiring means that acquires a fluorescent-spectral radiance of a first recording medium and a fluorescent-spectral radiance of the first recording medium, on which a color material is recorded; calculating means that calculates the degree of fluorescent effect on the first recording medium from the acquired fluorescent-spectral radiances; second acquiring means that acquires a fluorescent-spectral radiance of a second recording medium containing a fluorescent whitening material different from that contained in the first recording medium; and estimating means that estimates a fluorescent-spectral radiance of the second recording medium, on which the color material is recorded, by using the degree of fluorescent effect and the acquired fluorescent-spectral radiance of the second recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
