<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a depilator in which the diameter of a rotary cylinder is reduced and a depilation part is made compact compared to the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: To one end of a body 1 whose outer periphery is to be held, a depilation part 11 for performing a depilation operation is provided. The depilation part 11 includes: a rotary cylinder 12 in a cylindrical shape; a shaft part 17 for supporting the rotary cylinder 12 axially freely rotatably; a depilation pawl 30 opened and closed on the outer periphery of the rotary cylinder 12 for holding the hair; and an opening/closing mechanism part for opening and closing the depilation pawl 30. The depilation pawl 30 includes a fixed pawl 38 fixed to the rotary cylinder 12 and a movable pawl 31 getting closer to or away from the fixed pawl 38 in an axial direction AX. The opening/closing mechanism part includes an opening/closing lever 50 for swinging the movable pawl 31, and a fulcrum plate 46 on which the movable pawl 31 abuts to be the fulcrum of the swing. A shaft part 17 is positioned between the opening/closing lever 50 and the fulcrum plate 46, and the fixed pawl 38 is supported to the rotary cylinder 12 from the outer peripheral side of the rotary cylinder 12 by the fulcrum plate 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
