<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a louver film that may be smaller in weight and thickness, a liquid crystal panel including the louver film, a display device including the louver film and a portable terminal including the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a louver film including light transmitting portions arranged on a film face for transmitting light and light absorbing portions arranged between the light transmitting portions for absorbing light, comprises: a light transmitting portion forming the step of forming the light transmitting portions on a substrate; a light absorbing portion forming step of forming the light absorbing portions between the light transmitting portions; and a step of forming a louver film on the substrate; a peeling step of peeling the louver film from the substrate.
