The apparatus has an electroacoustic transducer comprising a therapy head (2) whose proximal end has handgrip (4). The handgrip is bendable from a position in which handgrip is arranged in longitudinal direction of therapy head where central axis of handgrip is parallel to central axis of therapy head, to a position in which handgrip is aligned diagonally. A parting plane (22) between therapy head and handgrip is set diagonal to central axis of therapy head. The handgrip is rotated around a rotational axis aligned to parting plane relative to therapy head.
