APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING OPTICAL LATTICE

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for generating an optical lattice are provided to control each angular momentum of each optical vortex by using a double axicon holographic pattern. CONSTITUTION: A laser generation unit(110) is composed of a light source generating laser beams. A beam expanding unit(120) expands a laser light source irradiated from the laser generation unit according to the size of a liquid crystal active area of a spatial light modulator(150). A beam reflection device(130) reflects the laser light source to let the expanded laser light source to a polarization control unit(140). The polarization control unit controls the polarization state of the laser beams to match the polarization state of the entered laser light source with the polarization state of the spatial light modulator.
