<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that promotes dissolution of dirt from clothes and uniformization of washing liquid to detect dirt at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine comprises: a circulation path 37 that sucks washing liquid accumulated in an outer tub 24 and then returns the washing liquid to the outer tub 24 again; a circulation pump 39 that forcibly circulates the washing liquid in the circulation path 37; and washing liquid condition detection means 40 that detects the condition of the washing liquid. The washing liquid condition detection means 40 is provided in the circulation path 37. The circulation path 37 is configured to be able to inject the washing liquid to the inside of an inner tub 25. As a necessary circulation amount in the circulation path 37 is ensured and the washing liquid is directly injected to clothes in the inner tub 25, the speeds at which the clothes get wet are uniformized. By uniformizing dissolution of dirt from the clothes, the timing of dirt detection for estimating the amount of dirt in the clothes is made earlier. As it is possible to estimate the degree of dirt attached on the clothes at an early stage, the amount of time to be reduced when the dirt amount is small and the water amount to be saved are increased, thus allowing more optimum operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
