<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine in which laundry can be rapidly wet, temperatures of the whole laundry and a wash liquid can be efficiently increased, an excellent washing effect can be attained, time necessary for washing and drying can be reduced and water can be saved. <P>SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine 100 comprises: a steam generator 8 for generating steam by heating and evaporating water; a steam supply part 5 for supplying the generated steam into a drum 3 rotated inside a water tank 2; and a control unit 16 for controlling washing and drying operations. The steam supply part 5 includes: a steam pipe 51 provided at an edge of an opening of the water tank 2 for supplying the steam from the steam generator 8 toward the inside of the drum 3; and a steam pipe 54 provided on a circumferential face of the water tank 2 for supplying the steam from the steam generator 8 toward the outside of the circumferential face of the drum 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
