<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten start-up time while suppressing ROM capacity, in an electronic device in which a RAM execution program executed on RAM is recorded in ROM. <P>SOLUTION: A first program in an uncompressed state which is a part of a RAM execution program executed by a CPU 101 on RAM 103 is stored in an uncompressed area of ROM 102, and a second program other than the first program of the RAM execution program in a compressed state is stored in a compressed area of the ROM 102. The CPU 101 performs first processing which reads the first program stored in the uncompressed area in the uncompressed state and allocates it in the RAM 103, and second processing which reads the second program stored in the compressed area in the compressed state, performs expansion processing and allocates it in the RAM 103, by executing a boot program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
