<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-receiving device capable of encapsulating both an infrared receiving element and a visible light-receiving element with the same resin and allowing reduction in work and cost of the production. <P>SOLUTION: A calculation processing circuit 20 performs calculation processing on outputs of an infrared light receiving element 11 and a visible light-receiving element 12 so as to cancel an output component belonging to a mutually overlapping spectral sensitivity zone of the output components of the outputs of the infrared light receiving element 11 and visible light-receiving element 12 and thereby obtain a remote control-use photo-receiving signal S1 and a luminous intensity-use photo-receiving signal S2 that represent output components belonging to mutually different spectral sensitivity zones. The infrared light receiving element 11, visible light-receiving element 12 and calculation processing circuit 20 are encapsulated with the same encapsulation resin 6. Therefore, even if the infrared light receiving element 11 and visible light-receiving element 12 are encapsulated with the same encapsulation resin 6, the remote control-use photo-receiving signal S1 and luminous intensity-use photo-receiving signal S2 can be discriminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
