<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-growing box which has a simple structure and makes it easier to water than conventional one; and to provide a plant-growing box unit. <P>SOLUTION: The plant-growing box includes a bottom part 2, and a sidewall part 3 rising from the edge of the bottom part, and has an open top surface and a housing vacant part 4 inside. A fiber-planted layer 5 where synthetic fibers are planted is formed on the inner surfaces of the sidewall part and the bottom part, a part of the bottom part is made lower than the inner surfaces of other parts of the bottom part to form a low-level part, a drainage hole 6 is made at a position higher than the lowermost portion of the low-level part, and the low-level part lower than the drainage hole is prepared as a water-storage part 7. The fiber-planted layer of the bottom part ranging from the water-storage part to the circumference of the drainage hole, and the fiber-planted layer of the sidewall part are integrally joined, so that water stored in the water-storage part is supplied to the inner surface of the sidewall part from the bottom part via the fiber-planted layer of the sidewall part so as to supply the water to soil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
