The method involves providing a substrate (S) with two flat sides (F1, F2), and applying a sensor electrode layer (SE) on the two flat sides of the substrate for formation of a capacitive probe sensor arrangement (2). An electroluminescence structure (EA) is applied on the flat sides for formation of an electroluminescence lighting element (4), where the application of the electrode layer and the electroluminescence structure is carried out in a single machine pass. A decoration layer is arranged on the flat sides, the electrode layer and the electroluminescence structure. The substrate is designed as a plastic film. An independent claim is also included for a method for application of a probe-sensor arrangement.
