Class 75(2) A vehicle headlamp or other light projector comprises a light source and a reflector arranged behind a partition of tranparent material forming a space behind the front lens of the lamp which is filled with liquid paraffin. In the form shown, the lamp is closed in front by a transparent surface 6 having a filler plug A and is divided by a portion B so as to form a chamber which can be filled with liquid paraffin. Preferably, frusto conical surfaces F of different shape are arranged co-axial with the light beam between the front lens and the partition.</p> |
