<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for performing anti-aliasing by reducing a processing load and to provide an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: An observation window setting section 102 sets an observation window of a prescribed size, which includes a target pixel. An edge determining section 103 extracts a plurality of combinations of two prescribed adjacent pixels in the observation window which is set by the observation window setting section 102. An edge determining section 103 determines a difference of input pixel values of the two extracted pixels at every combination. A template matching section 104 obtains template data based on the combination of a determination result by the edge determining section 103. A pixel value calculating section 105 weights and adds an input pixel value of the target pixel and an input pixel value of a prescribed adjacent pixel adjacent to the target pixel and obtains an output pixel value of the target pixel based on the template data obtained by the template matching section 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
