<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle which can move a steering wheel to a desired tilt position without using an angle sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The steering device for the vehicle performs tilt operation to a predetermined position of a steering shaft 5 having the steering wheel 1 installed on the upper end thereof by using driving force of a motor 15, and includes the tilt driving motor 15 which can move the steering shaft 5 in tilt operation, and a control part for controlling driving of the tilt driving motor 15. The control part drives the tilt driving motor 15 to determine a tilt displacement quantity from an opening transfer function of a machine system of taking into consideration inertia and viscosity of a steering column 7a7b by resultant force of torque and steering torque of the tilt driving motor 15, generated in the steering column 7a7b for rotatably supporting the steering shaft 5 on its inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
