<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of error diffusion processing by using a processor being not capable of providing a new input value by interrupting processing during a calculation process. <P>SOLUTION: The number of pixels m is identified so as to secure a delay time for preventing error diffusion processing from being performed on a pixel of a N+1-th line in which diffusion of error from a pixel of a N-th line (N is a natural number) of image data has not yet been completed. After the error diffusion processing on a m-th pixel of the N-th line of the image data is completed, control for commencing the error diffusion processing on the N+1-th line of the image data is performed so as to perform the error diffusion processing on individual lines of the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
