<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a system by substituting another communication device for a function of a failed communication device even if the communication device is failed and does not work. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system comprises: a plurality of communication devices 2A, 2B, and 2C operating according to operation programs; detection means for detecting whether functions of the communication devices become incapable; and a server device 1 for storing function information indicating the functions of the plurality of communication devices 2A, 2B, and 2C, and operation programs P, I, and W for respective functions. If the detection means detects that the function of an illumination control unit 2A is incapable, a proxy unit 2B different from the illumination control unit 2A obtains a proxy program (P) stored in the illumination control unit 2A based on the function information stored in the server device 1, and operates according to the proxy program (P). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
