<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor having a dielectric layer which has a high permittivity, excellent stability in the temperature characteristics of dielectric constant, small polarization charge, and a high insulation resistance at high temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor has a dielectric layer of dielectric porcelain having main crystal particles of barium titanate, and crystal particles of strontium zirconate and containing yttrium (Y), manganese (Mn), magnesium (Mg) and ytterbium (Yb). The main crystal particle has a cubic system crystal structure, and an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.2 μm. The crystal particles of the strontium zirconate contains hafnium, and in the X-ray diffraction chart, the diffraction intensity of the plane indices (121, 002)of strontium zirconate for the diffraction intensity of the plane index (110) of barium titanate is 0.7-18.0%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
