<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press in which the vertical movement of an upper die during press working is performed by a crank mechanism, the press maintaining stable press forming by preventing variation in die height without bringing about the complication of constitution. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the press in which the vertical movement of the upper die 11 during press working is performed by the crank mechanism 21. The press includes: a bottom dead center sensor which detects a position of an actual bottom dead center of an upper die 11; a bolster position adjusting mechanism 51 which horizontally moves a tapered plate 52 disposed below a bolster 41; and a bolster position control means 71 which detects the difference between the position of the actual bottom dead center and the position of the reference bottom dead center on the basis of the position of the actual bottom dead center of the upper die 1 detected with the bottom dead center sensor, and which causes the bolster position adjusting mechanism 51 to corrects the position of the bolster 41 by a specific amount in the direction in which the difference is mitigated and deters the variation in the die height so that the die height does not change due to the difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
