<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing noise while maintaining productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 comprises: a resist roller 31 configured to stop conveyed paper temporarily and then feed it out toward an ink jet head part 33; a paper feed section 2 configured to feed paper by conveying the paper to the resist roller 31; a paper re-feed section 6 configured to invert, back to front, paper subjected to printing on one side in both-sided printing, convey the paper to the resist roller 31, and re-feed it; and a control section configured to exert control such that paper fed by the paper feed section 2 and paper re-feed section 6 are fed toward the ink jet head section 33 by the resist roller 31 at the timing following a prescribed printing schedule. The control section exerts control such that paper fed from the paper feed section 2 in both-sided printing is lower than that in one-sided printing in terms of the speed at which paper fed from the paper feed section 2 bumps against the ink jet head section 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
