VIBRATION ISOLATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable and low-cost vibration isolating device which realizes both an allowable load and a low spring constant.

SOLUTION: A vibration isolating device 1 is provided with an elastic member 4 of hollow cylindrical form, an upper plate 2 fixed to an object X to be vibration-isolated and a lower plate 3 fixed to a body frame Y. The elastic member 4 consists of a small diameter portion 5 formed in an intermediate portion, and a first large diameter part 6 having an inner diameter expanded toward the upper plate 2 and a second large diameter part 7 having an inner diameter expanded toward the lower plate 3 from the small diameter portion 5. While the upper plate 2 is integrally connected to an end of the first large diameter part 6, the lower plate 3 is integrally connected to an end of the second large diameter part 7. The upper plate 2 is integrally connected to the elastic member 4 so as to cover an opening at the end of the first large diameter part 6. A portion covering the opening contains the object X to be vibration-isolated and a fastening member 10 to fix it.
