The present invention relates to a non-prefix platform-based message service providing system which converts a text message into a multi-message and transmits the multi-message, and a message service providing method using the same. The non-prefix platform-based message service providing system which converts a text message into a multi-message and provides the multi-message according to the present invention comprises a text conversion server which: extracts a service identifier that is inserted into a message body of a text message received from an originating terminal; generates a multi-message by converting the message body according to the extracted service identifier; and transmits the generated multi-message to a short message service center (SMSC) or a multimedia message service center (MMSC). According to the present invention, it is possible to selectively subscribe to and use various additional services by inputting a simple service identifier at one service number through a non-prefix platform.
