<p>Provided is a handover method based on coordinated multi-point. The method includes: a target main cell is determined after a source main cell receives a measurement report reported by a terminal, and a handover request message is sent to the target main cell; resources are allocated to the terminal after the target main cell receives the handover request message, and a target coordinated cell set and a target handover cell set are determined before or after the terminal switches to the target main cell. A handover system based on coordinated multi-point is also provided. The present invention can reduce the time delay due to handover interruption, increase system throughput during handover, and reselect a CoMP cell set and a handover cell set for the UE during or after handover, thus enabling the UE to obtain the same service after handover.</p> |
