A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN A conveyor belt 1 includes a longitudinally extending pliant nylon first layer 2 for primarily providing tensile strength. Layer 2 includes two opposite faces 3 and 4. A deformable polyurethane foam second layer 5 and third layer 6 retain liquid, and are both connected to layer 2 and extend away from respective faces 3 and 4.
