PROCESS FOR PRODUCING DRY POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a dry powder by which the powder is dried efficiently with a simple constitution and without causing blocking of the powder in a drying hopper.

SOLUTION: The process for producing a dry powder uses a dryer 1 equipped with a drying hopper 3 storing the powder consisting of a resin material to dry the dry powder and comprises: a low temperature drying step in which the powder in the drying hopper 3 is dried at a first temperature while controlling the rate of discharge of the powder from the drying hopper 3; and a high temperature drying step to which the low temperature step is switched, when the powder is discharged from the drying hopper 3 and in which the powder in the drying hopper 3 is dried at a second temperature higher than the first temperature.
