<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device capable of detecting a power supply failure caused by a charging voltage of a smoothing capacitor on a primary side of an isolation transformer without providing a dedicated insulating mechanism in between the primary side of the isolation transformer. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter device includes a power circuit 13 which generates a power supply for driving a control circuit 4 and a peripheral device and a power supply failure detection part 6 which calculates a charging voltage of a smoothing capacitor 12. The power circuit 13 monitors an insulation transformer 14 and a voltage Vo3 of a capacitor 25 for a control circuit power supply connected to a secondary winding 18 of the insulation transformer 14 via a diode 22 and generates an on/off signal of a switching element 19 from a power supply control part 27. The power supply failure detection part 6 monitors a voltage value V3 between terminals of the secondary winding 18 of the insulation transformer 14 and calculates a charging voltage V1 of the smoothing capacitor according to the monitoring result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
