<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas warm air heater without generating failure or the like even when water is sprinkled and without having any malfunction causing a decrease in ion discharge efficiency and an excessive outer shape enlargement. <P>SOLUTION: The gas warm air heater 1 has an outer casing 2, and a warm air generation part 3 and an ion generation unit (ion generation part) 5 are incorporated in the outer casing 2. The ion generation unit 5 incorporates an ion generation device 31 and a blower 32 in an inner casing 30. A grating (fall prevention part 62) is provided in an opening part 61 of the ion generation unit. A partly enclosing part 63 is provided on the fall prevention part 62.
