PACKAGING CONTAINER, AND PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container and a package which improve workability in loading and unloading of a glass plate.

SOLUTION: The packaging container is used for laminating and holding a plurality of glass plates by being horizontally arranged. In a container body 6 having a mounting part 4 for supporting the glass plates, a support arm 12 having one end side used as a fixed end by being connected to a turning shaft 11 and the other end side used as a turning end is arranged. A locking bar 13 is arranged at the turning end of the support arm 12. The locking bar 13 can be displaced between a state abutting on the upper surface of the glass plate with the turning operation of the support arm 12 and a state having evacuated to the container body 6 side from the upper surface of the glass plate. To the turning shaft 11, a main damper mechanism 20 for urging the locking bar 13 when evacuating to the container body 6 side from the state abutting on the upper surface of the glass plate and providing resistance thereto when abutting on the upper surface of the glass plate from the state having evacuated to the container body 6 side is attached.
