<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat that surely receives an impact load inputted from the vehicle side and efficiently transmits the impact load to a center tunnel via a seat frame. <P>SOLUTION: A seat cushion frame 7 has an opening 61 and a plurality of tongues 63 extending from the inner peripheral edge 61a of the opening 61 to the radial inside. Positioning projections 57 projecting in the seat width direction from a recliner mechanism 50 are configured to enter the opening 61 and to circumferentially abut against the plurality of tongues 63 so as to position the recliner mechanism 50.
