PURPOSE: A motor controlling device for driving a refrigerant compressor, a controlling method thereof, and a refrigerant having the same are provided to control a motor for driving a refrigerant compressor by using a motor applied voltage and current and a direct link voltage. CONSTITUTION: A calculation unit(710) calculates a speed of a rotor and a magnetic flux angle by receiving a current for driving the motor. A speed controlling unit(720) computes a current command by receiving a speed command and the speed of the rotor. A current controlling unit(730) computes a voltage command by receiving a current for driving the motor and the magnetic flux angle. A pulse width modulation controller(740) generates second control signals based on the voltage command.
