PURPOSE: A device for controlling the operation of a train is provided to confirm the validity of a drive control command by confirming the operation state of a control command treatment unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the operation of a train comprises a control command treatment unit(11), a command transfer switching unit(13), and a command transfer switching control unit(20). The control command treatment unit outputs a drive control command for controlling the operation of a train drive unit. The command transfer switching unit switches on/off the electrical connection of the train drive unit and the control command treatment unit. The command transfer switching control unit controls the on/off of the command transfer switching unit. |
