An ascending and descending step (24) is provided between a front fender mounting plate (22) and a rear fender mounting plate (23) provided in a chassis (17), and a tool box (31) is provided in a tool box accommodating space (25) surrounded by the front fender mounting plate (22), the rear fender mounting plate (23) and the ascending and descending step (24). An opening portion (32G) is provided in an outer side surface (32E) in the tool box (31), and the opening portion (32G) is opened/closed by a lid member (34). On the other hand, a urea water solution tank (35) is arranged in the tool box (31), and a water supply port (35G) of the urea water solution tank (35) is provided in the tool box (31). The respective fender mounting plates (22), (23) and the ascending and descending step (24) prevent earth and sand splashed at the time of the traveling of a hydraulic excavator (1) from colliding with the tool box (31) to protect the urea water solution tank (35) in the tool box (31). |
