<p>The present invention is directed to a process and apparatus for processing manure. The process comprises feeding a manure feed (a,a') stream to a dewatering step (4) producing a filtrate (a') having a lower solids content than (a) and a retentate (m), followed by feeding said filtrate (a') to system comprising a centrifugal type separator (1), wherebyin two effluents (b) and (c) are obtained, wherein effluent (b) contains the majority of the solids present in said feed stream (a) and wherein at least part of effluent (c) is fed to a flotation device (2), wherein flocculation agent (d) is added, from which flotation device a stream of flocculated solids (f) and a permeate stream (e) are obtained.</p> |
