The blades (36,44) fixed to two consecutive rings (32,42) are arranged on outer boundary wall (22) of flow channel. The inner ring (40) is held by blades (36) of one ring, such that blades (44) of other ring (42) are arranged opposite to each other under a radial gap formation between inner ring and blades. An independent claim is included for axial flow compressor.
