Class 131 5, 1960 [Jan. 5, 1959], A dry shaver casing 1 comprises moulded plastic sections 2, 3 assembled to form a cutter head support 4 and a compartment 14, housing the motor, by clips 9, 12 engaging ribs 8 and shoulders 11. The sections have aligning projections 25 engaging in recesses 26 and recesses 22 for rubber &c. motor supports 23 and are connected by the clip 9 prior to insertion of the motor, starting wheel 35, and latch 33 for a protective cover, the sections then being secured in abutting relation by the T-shape clips 12 which have a leg 15 under which is slipped a plate 6 which carries the cutter heads. In a modification shown in Fig. 6 a strip-like clamping clip 31 has a central aperture for passage of drive members 36 and downwardly bent edges 32 engaging over opposite sides of upstanding edge portions 30 of the casing. |
