PURPOSE: A pillar-shaped solar tracker is provided to secure a strong structure system such as a space truss and a tension chain. CONSTITUTION: A pillar-shaped solar tracker(100) comprises a pillar unit(110), a solar module(130), a horizontally rotating unit(120), and a vertically rotating unit. The pillar unit is vertically built on the ground. The solar module comprises a support structure, and a solar cell plate(132). The support structure is rotatably coupled to the solar cell plate. One end of the support structure is connected to the pillar unit. The solar cell plate generates electric energy by collecting sunlight. The horizontally rotating unit is installed in the pillar unit. The horizontally rotating unit connects the pillar unit and the solar module, and horizontally rotates the solar module to the pillar unit by operating a driving motor. The vertically rotating unit is connected to the support structure and the solar cell plate, and vertically rotates the solar cell plate to the support structure. |
