A tool hanger assembly comprises a hanger 20 and frame 10 having a back plate 11 and a bracket 12 mounted on the back plate. The bracket has an upper protrusion 121, a lower protrusion 122, a front plate 123 between the protrusions, a recess 124 formed between the protrusions and the front plate, two button holes 125 on the front plate, an upper rib (126, fig. 4A) protruding from the upper protrusion toward the lower one and a lower rib (127) protruding from the lower protrusion toward the upper one.
