PURPOSE: A rotary type power toothbrush is provided to prevent damage of gum and effectively remove contaminat which is remained in the teeth. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type power toothbrush comprises a body(12), a motor(13), a main brush(15), a sub brush(17), and a selection switch(18). The main brush is placed inside a head and is protruded to outside in order for one part to contact the teeth and consecutively rotates by driving of the motor. The sub brush and the main brush are arranged side by side and are rotated by a power transfer device. In the selection switch, a rotation signal of a forward or reverse direction based on a rotary shaft is selectively input when the brush touches the upper teeth or the lower teeth.
