<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cylinder liner, capable of improving a fuel consumption ratio through reduction in temperature difference in an axial direction of a cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the cylinder liner, a coating film 51 continuing from a liner upper end 23 to a liner lower end 24 is formed by a thermal spraying equipment 52. Specifically, when a high thermal-conductive portion 51A of the coating film 51 is formed on a peripheral surface 22 of a liner upper portion 25, the thermal spraying equipment 52 is separated from the peripheral surface 22 by a reference thermal spraying distance LA. Besides, when forming a low thermal-conductive portion 51B of the coating film 51 is formed on the peripheral surface 22 of a liner lower portion 26, the thermal spraying equipment 52 is separated from the peripheral surface 22 by a low-rate thermal spraying distance LB larger than the reference thermal spraying distance LA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
