摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately dissipate frictional heat generated between a rotary shaft of a rotating stirring member and a seal member in a developing device to the outside so as to prevent toner from being melt-stuck and aggregated onto the end of the rotary shaft of the stirring member. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing device equipped with the stirring member 24 rotating in a device main body 21 and stirring developer, the end of the rotary shaft 24a of the stirring member is made to project to the outside of the device main body through a bearing part 31 for rotatably holding the rotary shaft, and the seal member 32 which the rotary shaft is made to pierce through is provided on the inner surface side of the device main body of the bearing part. At least one end 24a1 of the rotary shaft projecting to the outside of the device main body from a position where it comes into contact with the seal member is composed of material having high heat conductivity, and also the end of the rotary shaft composed of the material having the high heat conductivity and projecting to the outside of the device main body is brought into contact with a heat dissipation member 28 having high heat conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
