Drying drum for the production of asphalt and method for producing asphalt

The drum (3) has an inner-drying drum (15) for receiving granulates i.e. stone granulates (9), and comprising an inner-drying drum-supply opening (17) for supplying granulates. An inner-drying drum-discharge opening (18) discharges heated granulates. An outer-drying drum (16) receives another granulates i.e. asphalt granulates (11), and arranged concentrically to a rotational axis (2). The outer drum has an outer-drying drum-supply opening (28) and an outer-drying drum-discharge opening (32). A retaining area (29) for accommodating the latter granulates is arranged between the drums. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for manufacturing asphalt (2) a method for manufacturing asphalt.
