<p>A cylinder device of the present invention is characterized in : that the cylinder device selectively realizes an operation-force dependent pressurizing state in which brake fluid is pressurized by operation force applied on an brake pedal 150 and a high-pressure-source-pressure dependent pressurizing state in which brake fluid is pressurized, independently of forward movement of an input piston 406, depending on a pressure from an external high-pressure-source device 118; that an inter-piston chamber R3 is defined in front of the input piston by that the input piston is inserted in a blind hole of a first pressurizing piston 402 from the backward; that there are respectively defined an input chamber R3 which is located in the back of a flange portion 430 of the pressurizing piston and to which the pressure from the external high pressure source device is inputted, and an opposing chamber R7 in front of the flange portion; and that the cylinder device is equipped with a mechanism which elastically pressurizes an reaction force chamber R8 formed by the communication between the inter-piston chamber and the opposing chamber and a mechanism which switches a communication state and a not-communication state between the operation-reaction-force chamber and a reservoir.</p> |
