PURPOSE: An environmentally-friendly vertical biodegradable drain board-based contaminated soil restoring system and a restoring method using the same are provided to improve the eliminating efficiency of soil contaminants and to restore contaminated soil at a region with low coefficient of permeability. CONSTITUTION: A contaminated soil restoring system includes a plurality of vertical biodegradable drain boards(100), an injection pump(200), and a vacuum blower(300). The biodegradable drain boards are applied to contaminated ground. The biodegradable drain boards include naturally degradable resin-based cores and filters surrounding the cores. The injection pump is in connection with the biodegradable drain boards and injects water or vapor into the biodegradable drain boards. The vacuum blower is in connection with the biodegradable drain boards and sucks contaminants from the biodegradable drain boards. Reactive materials containing zerovalent iron and zeolite are coated on the outer circumference of the filters.
